Earthquake engineering challenge

1) we read an article about how nepal's buildings are being destroyed by earthquakes.

2) we asked the question, "how can we design buildings that can withstand earthquakes?"

3) in groups they imagined possible building designs.

4) in groups they created a plan

5) they then created buildings

6) the groups tested their buildings in an earthquake simulation.

They identified problems with their original structure and repeated the process to troubleshoot issues they encountered.
