Community planning engineering challenge

Mrs. Munoz has a HUGE plot of land and she wants to build a community in it. There is one problem... It floods horribly! Your task is to plan the community and keep the buildings from being destroyed using human interventions. You must have houses and a school and at least 1 human intervention.

Group 1

Planning phase

We have a school and some houses. We have a dam to create a lake and we have a levee around the lake in case it floods. 

The dam and levees broke, but did their job and kept the flooding from reaching the houses and school.
