Great Depression reenactment

Today we did a Great Depression reenactment. The kids had to make some tough decisions after the stock market crash.
Here the families are in their houses.

Some families had such tough conditions they had to give their children up for adoption.

Some families had to live in Hoovervilles and some husbands had to go to jail for not paying their taxes.

On December 7... The Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and these young "men" joined the military.

These are the main points I hope they got out of the lesson.
